About Onkagile

An established South African training provider operating within the security training environment and broader skills development space.

Who We Are

Onkagile Training Academy (NPC) is positioned to support public-sector labour activation priorities through structured training, learner support, workplace exposure and accountable programme management. Our work is aimed at equipping unemployed youth with recognised occupational training, practical work-readiness and a pathway into sustainable participation in the private security industry.

As a B-BBEE Level 1 contributor, Onkagile is committed to meaningful transformation and broad-based economic empowerment. This status reflects our dedication to skills development, enterprise ownership and the advancement of historically disadvantaged communities within the security sector.

We deliver accredited programmes at NQF Level 3 and NQF Level 4, combining theoretical learning with guided practical training and structured workplace exposure. Our implementation model is supported by project management, learner administration, accredited facilitation, assessment coordination and compliance oversight.

Our Capability

Our implementation capability is strengthened by clear governance lines, defined operational processes and the ability to monitor programme performance through documented controls. These include learner attendance controls, issue and risk registers, assessor and moderator scheduling, workplace monitoring, stakeholder engagement records and evidence-based reporting.

The result is a model designed not only to deliver training, but to do so in a disciplined, auditable and professional manner suited to government-supported programmes.
