Delivery Model

All programmes combine classroom-based learning, guided practical training, workplace exposure, mentorship and competency assessment. Learners receive theoretical instruction alongside the opportunity to apply knowledge in real or simulated operating environments. This approach supports stronger retention, improved workplace readiness and better alignment with the operational realities of the private security sector.

Occupational Certificate: Security Officer

An entry-level programme intended for individuals seeking to enter the private security industry. It comprises compulsory knowledge modules, practical modules and work experience modules and focuses on patrol activities, access control and asset protection. The programme is appropriate for developing disciplined, industry-ready learners who can perform core operational duties in line with legal, regulatory and workplace standards.

Delivery: Approximately 30% theory-based training and 70% workplace practical exposure. Theory delivery covers core occupational knowledge, legal and regulatory requirements, operational procedures, safety awareness, reporting standards and professional conduct.
